Truly, Monalisa's eyes follow the viewer

Between 1503 and 1506, Leonardo da Vinci painted his most discussed picture 'Mona Lisa'. Since then, it has been constantly stirred around the picture, all the mysteries of different types. The most discussed is Mona Lisa smile and her special look. For more than 500 years, from any industrialist to the general public, people have believed that the Mona Lisa's vision or its audience follows. In other words, the direction from which to view the Monalisa, it is believed that the eyes of the woman turn round.

But Mona Lisa has recently rejected this "virtue" a study that has absolutely been rejected. Garnet Horstmann, a German psychologist at Bielefeld University, with a detailed discussion, showed that Mona Lisa does not follow any viewer in the eyes. In fact, the Monalisa's eye is always in angle 15.4 degrees on the right side of the viewer. Harzman says that all visitors are confused for this particular angle.

This confusion has been described by the name 'Mona Lisa Effect' so far. According to Horstmann, this 'effect' is but 'true'. This 'effect' is created when looking at a straight forward or right side of this portrait. But the viewer's eyes are bound within 5 degrees. As a result, the sight of the Monalisa never turns to him.

Horstman said that if the Mona Lisa looked at the long-term, then this 'effect' does not remain. It always seems that Mona Lisa is looking at the right eye.

Horstman and all his colleagues came to the conclusion that the longevity of Mona Lisa's eye and the auditory eye study came out. The main point of their speech is that the idea that the Mona Lisa's eyes have come so far has been a legend. In the open access journal 'Eye-Perception', these research articles have been published in the form of Jan 7.
